My Story
On January 24, 2006, our family went from watching the news to living a true crime story – my niece Jennifer was abducted and vanished without a trace in Orlando, Florida.
Gripped by sadness while grappling with brokenness, a pivotal invitation brought hope out of helplessness.
After years of processing the inner pain, in January 2022, I was invited to join the Creator Insitute at Georgetown University, where in community I wrote, Aftermath of Jennifer Kesse's Abduction: An Uncle's Quest for Understanding & Inspiring Life Lessons, published by New Degree Press.
I wanted to share my journey of finding confident hope amidst tragic life circumstances that test our faith in self, humanity, and God. That joy is possible through pain – transformation emerges through suffering – and love ultimately triumphs.
